Ashland Performance Materials a new business leader for vinyl ester and specialty resins business

Dublin, Ohio -- Ashland Performance Materials (APM), a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), today announced that Bob Hall has been promoted to global director for vinyl ester and specialty resins.

Hall, who has been with Ashland more than 20 years, will manage the specialty resins business for APM. The specialty resins business consists of the Derakane™, Hetron™ and Modar™ product lines serving the global chemical processing, mining, power generation, architectural and transportation markets.

Hall has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Penn State University and an Executive MBA from Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University.
