New Eagle One Marine Wax As-U-Dry™ spray wax now available

Lexington, Ky. - Recognized for innovative car appearance products including car washes, waxes and cleaners, Eagle One ^™, a brand of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), today announced its new patented marine spray wax for use on wet or dry watercraft surfaces. Eagle One Marine Wax As-U-Dry^™ is formulated specifically for boats and watercraft to protect against Ultraviolet (UV) sun damage, corrosion and water deposits.

The spray wax works on wet or dry surfaces, allowing wax application while drying in one step. It can be used on all exterior hard surfaces, including glass, and will not white out trim or moldings. Marine Wax As-U-Dry spray helps reduce adhesion of water scum and deposits and contains special anti-corrosion agents to help protect metals from premature corrosion making it excellent for boat trailers.

Marine Wax As-U-Dry contains carnauba wax, which is a natural wax extracted from the leaves of the Brazilian Tree of Life, the palm tree. It protects the tree from excessive heat while shedding water to its roots. When applied to a boat, the wax retains these protective properties. With a melting point of 180 degrees Fahrenheit, carnauba wax provides excellent protection against UV, heat and deposits. In addition, it is breathable and safe for aquatic life.
