Compositebuild.com Showcases Winning Design By The Ohio State University Professor During American Institute Of Architects Convention
DUBLIN, Ohio - During the 2015 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Convention, (May 14 - May 16) the Composite Pavilion will showcase new materials and technology including a unique display, "Plasticity Pavilion," by designer Justin Diles, assistant professor of architecture at The Ohio State University Knowlton School. Diles recently exhibited his "Plasticity Pavilion" at the nonprofit Tex-Fab Digital Fabrication Alliance's annual event in Houston, where his creation was named the 2015 Tex-Fab winning design. His winning piece was also recently featured online by Architect Magazine.
Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), will continue educating architects, engineers and builders at the convention, booth #1723, and through its sponsorship of the composite building materials website CompositeBuild.com. At the booth and on-line, Ashland will showcase composite material products and highlight their benefits.
CompositeBuild.com provides users with a convenient resource to research and learn about composite building products, and provides links to fabricators from whom users can get more detailed information on specific composite materials.
