Ashland celebrates a year of new products and a milestone anniversary for flagship brand

Dublin, Ohio - Ashland Performance Materials, a business unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Derakane resins at the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) to be held October 27-29, 2015, in Dallas. For half a century, high-performing Derakane resins have provided unparalleled durability performance when failure is not an option.

Providing differentiated solutions to the marketplace was a strong focus for the company over the past year. Ashland introduced a low styrene resin, Aropol L&#8482 67314, to minimize exposure to styrene vapors, making the workplace a more pleasant and attractive environment. In addition, Ashland's new 1.1 Class A SMC system enables the advancement of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) lightweighting plans as the auto industry races to meet the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFÉ) standards.

Beyond products, Ashland's collaboration with customers includes assisting with training videos, collateral, and entrepreneurial partnerships for game-changing applications.
