Sanat Chattopadhyay, is executive vice president of Merck and Company (NYSE: MRK) where he is a key advisor to the CEO, an Executive Committee member, and President of the Manufacturing Division. Prior to Merck and Company, Mr. Chattopadhyay has held leadership positions at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Aventis, Hoechst Marion Roussel and Hoechst India.

A broadly experienced global executive, Mr. Chattopadhyay brings strong industry leadership in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and more. He has led commercialization in complex operations that span 22 countries including cutting-edge manufacturing technology while successfully navigating the ever-changing, globally complex, and heavily regulated industry of biopharmaceuticals.
