Ashland announces global distribution partnership with WACKER for cyclodextrins as excipients

WILMINGTON, Del., April 28, 2026, – Ashland announces an expanded, worldwide agreement with Wacker Chemie AG as the sole channel distribution partner for cyclodextrins as excipients in pharmaceuticals, including CAVAMAX*, CAVASOL* and Cavitron™. This builds upon the strength and commitment of an existing relationship that was first formalized under a prior agreement in 2013. Together, Ashland and WACKER now offer a broad range of unique solutions on a global basis, including a robust portfolio of native cyclodextrins and derivatives to help formulators achieve their desired benefits in final drug formulation.
