Ashland announces price increase for epoxy vinyl ester resins, unsaturated polyester resins and gelcoats in North America
DUBLIN, Ohio - Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), said today it will increase the price of specialty resins sold in North America effective February 17, 2014, or as contracts allow. Prices for AME™, AROTOOL™, DEREKANE™ and HETRON™ branded products will increase by $0.07/lb. and unsaturated polyester and gel coats will increase by $0.04/lb.
