Ashland Inc. Board Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

Ashland Inc. Board Declares Regular Quarterly DividendCOVINGTON, Ky., May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH) today declared the regular quarterly cash dividend of 27.5 cents per share on the company's common stock, equivalent to an annual dividend of $1.10 per share.

This dividend will be payable on June 15, 2008, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 28, 2008. As of April 30, 2008, there were 62,971,375 shares outstanding.
