Ashland Inc. Board Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

Ashland Inc. Board Declares Regular Quarterly DividendCOVINGTON, Ky., July 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH) today declared the regular quarterly cash dividend of 27.5 cents per share on the company's common stock, equivalent to an annual dividend of $1.10 per share.

This dividend will be payable on Sept. 15, 2007, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 20, 2007. As of June 30, 2007, there were 62,814,484 shares outstanding.
